Mark has been playing music since the age of five, moving from violin to cello, guitar,
and finally to the double bass. In the 1990s, he cut his teeth on the New York jazz scene,
performing and recording with numerous top musicians, including Joe Henderson,
Eric Marienthal and Terumasa Hino.
He now tours Japan extensively, working with such artists as Ken Nishikiori and Tom Pierson.
He also performs original jazz compositions in his own group.
